FireFall Beta - First Impression

The first few hours with the game was baby steps. I havent played this kind of games since we first saw Tribes back in the days, so I was very exited to get started.

I started of by installing the game, there were some small problems with the install, but a reset of the client did the job. (This is beta after all)

My first step in the game was, in a space shutle, landing in the Copacabana resort Ratchet, this is where it all begins.

A Female voice is telling you where to go, and it dosent take long to figure it out, and short after I am on the first quest.

The quests in the beginning of the game are easy and simple, its made so a noob like me, understands what FireFall is about.
FireFall is a mmo shooter, my guess is that resourses plays a big part of the game, without them you can not build up an army.
After the first few quests, the quest giver is taking you out to learn how to gahter minerals so you can craft.

Personally I love to craft and hunt for resourses, and at this state of beta FireFall is giving me that.

Crafting and how you gather is very fun, its not like a big grind, where you go to this spot gather and then to next spot.
Gather in FireFall is packed with action, I post a small video for you to see how the gathering is working. (You are in for a big surprise) if you are not familliar with FireFall.

This is the first few hours of FireFall. I am going to do a lot of hunting for minerals and crafting, and I make a small review of how crafting is done later.

Games 2012

Its looks like the year 2012 is going to be one of the best years for releases. We got som major big games and expansions coming out.

Its like the standart for games have become way better the last couple of years. Can the reason be World of Warcraft? I do not know. And that is not what this blog is about, its about GAMES IN 2012 and what we at Gam3center are going to keep an eye on.

FireFall is a free online multiplayer action game. At this point the game is in beta, so to sign up you go to this page. FireFall

At this state us at Gam3center do not have a beta key, so the info about this game is small. But as soon we get a key to the beta, we are going to stream and make a nice review.

The secret world TGN trailer

Rumor has it the game will be out in april for pc's.. Sadly the xbox version is put on hold, I was kinda excited for that when my bf first told me it was going to be for xbox as well.

Darkfall

Im a new player in Darkfall.
Its fun and then its no fun at all, the time you ned as a new player, to even get to the point where you can get some kills in a big sige battle, is just insane.
You ned to skill up by shooting monsters or other players.
Darkfall have a 14 days trail. You can get far in the 14 days, but not even close to where all the old players are.
You ned to grind grind and more grind to  have the gold and material, so you can skill up, on top of that, if you get killed by another player, you loose all the stuff you have if you dont bank it.

So  for me Darkfall simply take to longe time, nothing wrong with the game play, its great and it can be the best pvp game out there.
They only ned to look into that thing called new players at this state the game is in.

What i read on the forums, they are working on a remake of Darkfall called Darkfall 2,0 the same game but better.
You can skill up faster if you focus on one skill lige magic og weapon skill etc. it sounds like, they are working on making it better for new players, then info on Darkfall 2,0
